Medication Policy: It is important that parents do not send medications to school for children unless it is absolutely necessary. Medications must be locked in the office. Students may NOT carry medication on themselves unless authorized by the school nurse. If a child needs to take medication in school, the procedure is as follows:

1. Authorization for medication form must be completed and signed by physician and parent.
2. Medication must be brought to school by a parent or guardian in the original container marked with the student's name.

Medication authorization forms may be obtained in the school office or here. We will be unable to administer any medication unless you have completed this form. This policy pertains to all medications including over the counter medications such as: Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, and allergy medications.
