Kindergarten Enrollment
Siblings
of children who are presently in the school (Grades K-8)
are pre-registered in October of the year before
enrollment (Enrollment Pool #1).
A
registration night is held in November of the year
before enrollment for interested parishioners
(Enrollment Pool #2). If there are more prospective
students than available openings (35 minus # of
pre-registration in Pool #1) then an eligibility list is
formulated from Pool #2. Ranking on this list is
determined by the length of time the parents of the
prospective students have been active parishioners.
Once an
enrollment figure of 35 is achieved, a waiting list is
compiled from the remaining names on the eligibility
list according to the established system of rank.
A separate
registration list is formulated by the end of December
for non-parishioners on a first-come basis (Enrollment
Pool #3). If an availability occurs and there are no
parishioners interested in enrolling then the opening is
filled from this list.
